NAMI Piedmont Tri-County Golf Tournament: The third annual NAMI Piedmont Tri-County Golf Tournament will be held on Saturday, August 28th, at the Lancaster Golf Club. Participation in a par-three tournament of the captain’s choice includes gift bags / snacks, drinks and prizes closest to the pin on all holes. The tournament also has a putting competition where all players are eligible for prizes. The first five players to do 10-foot, 30-foot, and 50-foot putts will win $ 2,000.
Initial Hole-in-One Prizes are $ 10,000, Callaway Irons, Omaha Steaks for One Year, $ 500 Mastercard Gift Card, sponsored by Tri-County Services.
Post-tournament hamburger / hot dog platter, sponsored by Rebound Behavioral Health.
Check-in is at 1:30 p.m. with shotgun launch at 2:30 p.m.
The registration fee is US $ 65 for non-members and US $ 50 for Lancaster Golf Club members. Checks should be payable to NAMI Piedmont Tri-County. Payment and registration must be sent to LGC Pro Phil Small in the Pro Shop.

Gamecock Club Kickoff Cookout: The Lancaster County Gamecock Club will hold its annual kickoff cookout on August 30th at 6:00 p.m. in the Moose Lodge Ballroom, 200 Shrine Moose Drive, Lancaster. Gameock Central.com’s Wes Mitchell will be providing an update on the Gamecocks 2021 soccer team. The free event features hamburgers, hot dogs and all that goes with them, freebies and a raffle for a number of Gamecock season football tickets.
Selling sports tickets for the school district: Most schools in the Lancaster County School District will be using GoFan.com to sell tickets this school year. All gold passes are honored. There are currently no attendance or concession restrictions on school sports events, but social distancing and masks are highly recommended.
Rub of the Green Golf Tournament October 14th: The Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce’s annual Rub of the Green golf tournament is held October 14th at the Carolina Lakes Golf Club, 23012 Kingfisher Drive, Indian Land. Check-in and lunch start at 10.30am, with shotgun at 12pm.
Around 120 golfers are expected at the 18-hole captain’s election tournament, with special holes, great prizes and swagbags for every golfer. The first place team wins $ 400, the second $ 200, and the third $ 100.
All participants are cordially invited to the award ceremony in After 5 of the Chamber! Event 5-7pm on the golf club’s driving range. The tournament and After5! are sponsored by Founders Federal Credit Union.
Registration costs $ 75 per golfer for chamber members and $ 125 for non-members. The fee includes green fees, cart rental, gift bag, lunch, drinks and dinner. Golfers can also purchase golf shots, mulligans, and raffle tickets.
The chamber also offers sponsorships between $ 125 and $ 625.
