A Dallas-based golf real estate company purchased an Allen golf course to fuel its recent growth.
Arcis Golf acquired The Golf Club at Twin Creeks, Allen.
The Collin County Golf Course opened west of US Highway 75 in 1995.
“The Twin Creeks Golf Club is another great acquisition for us,” said Blake Walker, Founder and CEO of Arcis Golf, in a statement. “Twin Creeks is an Arnold Palmer Signature designed golf course right here in the back yard of our headquarters, and we’re excited to move from managing the club to owning it.
“Our immediate focus is on creating an accelerated path for future club growth, including reinvestment in the club, improved subscription offerings, curated experiences and content, and more.”
The Allen golf course includes a golf practice facility with 25 striking stations, a grass driving range, large putting and chipping greens and practice bunkers.
Arcis Golf officials say the new owner plans to invest in course conditioning and structural improvements.
The terms of the purchase of Twin Creeks were not disclosed.
With the latest purchase, Arcis Golf has 11 golf courses in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Early last month, the company bought six Arizona clubs from a company founded by tour veteran Phil Mickelson and his business partner.
Arcis Golf today owns nearly 70 public and private golf clubs in the United States.
