The Toronto Golf Club set out in the run-up to Christmas.

Toronto has excellent 18-hole golf courses and is a great test for experienced golfers, but also very playable for beginners and an ideal place to learn the game.

Club pro Darren Green and his team are very much looking forward to welcoming golfers to their fairways again this summer and bringing Toronto’s many features to the table, including a new driving range that is sure to be a driving force for anyone improving their game would like to.

“The new driving range is excellent,” said Darren. “It’s a great place to practice and, most importantly, to learn the game.

“With people short of time these days, you can still get your golf fix before or after work, or even during your lunch break.”

Probably the biggest advantage of the range is to introduce new golfers to the game.

“For beginners, walking straight into a busy square can be a little daunting,” said Darren. “The range gives the new golfer the opportunity to get a feel for the game before heading out onto the course.

“The facility is open from 8 am to 8 pm and also allows us to teach for seven days, and when combined with our simulator teaching and club fitting center, Toronto is ideal for golfers of all abilities to improve.”

When it comes to expert teaching and advice, you will hardly find anything better than Toronto.

Darren has been a club professional for over 25 years.

His brother Nathan has been a touring professional for 20 years and a winner of the US PGA circuit.

Jye Forrester is a new fully qualified professional from the PGA Academy, and trainee Chad Mackey is following in his footsteps.

Jake Riley and Jacob Dundas, two of the best juniors in the state developed through the Toronto Junior Program, complete the team.

The Toronto Golf Club offers four days of competition for members and guests and seven days of social play. A board game costs just $ 26 and $ 13 after 3:00 p.m., which is ideal in the summer months.

“Company golf is also available,” said Darren. “This was impossible during the Covid period, but it’s really picking up speed with Christmas just around the corner.”
