The winter season is approaching, but that doesn’t mean you need to slow down while playing. However, you need the right equipment. We’ll help you fight the cold, Under armor has revealed his new one ColdGear golf kit.
Equipped with next-generation ColdGear Infrared technology (thermoregulation that provides optimal warmth) and UA Storm technology (next-generation water-repellent), Under Armor equips golfers to turn 18 holes into 36 – or even more – without getting into the clubhouse to warm up even in the coldest and wettest conditions.
“Our ColdGear Golf Kit is everything a golfer needs to compete in unpredictable situations,” says Patti Lin, Under Armors Director of Golf Apparel. “The idea is simple: use our best cold weather product technology to extend your season. We’ll keep you warmer for longer without adding bulk to limit your swing. It is the perfect solution for the winter golfer. “
The new ColdGear Golf Kit features Under Armor’s proprietary ColdGear Infrared 2.0 technology – an upgrade to the printed pattern on the inside of the garment that traps heat and returns it to the wearer when the body begins to cool. The CGI 2.0 print inserts break lines into the previously solid pattern, allowing for more natural stretch and comfort without compromising protection from the elements.
The insulation technology is included in a new base layer for the ColdGear Golf Kit – and it’s also included in an update to Under Armor’s iconic Daytona golf collection, designed to be worn as an intermediate layer, available in three options: zip sweater, vest or full zip with hood. New winter hats, gloves and mittens are also equipped with ColdGear Infrared 2.0 technology and UA Storm.
So that you stay on the fairways even in bad weather, the outer layer of the ColdGear Golf Kit has Under Armor’s proprietary thermoregulating Reactor Active Insulation, which is used in the brand’s ColdGear Reactor series and offers the greatest warmth on the coldest days. The most innovative outerwear on the market also features CGI 2.0 insulation technology and UA Storm.
The pants of the ColdGear Golf Kit are also equipped with ColdGear Infrared 2.0 on the inside and UA Storm on the outside, which enables easy removal of dirt and water. They eliminate the need to wear traditional rainwear over normal trousers and allow more freedom of movement when turning.
The ColdGear Golf Kit is complemented by a full range of clothing and accessories with the characteristic silhouettes, workmanship and technologies of Under Armor. These options include the Storm SweaterFleece, which features a new pile fleece look, updated styles from the Playoff Polo franchise, and a full range of Match Play pants.
Cold Gear golf kits for men and women will be available worldwide on UA.com and UA Brand Houses.
