In 2017, Dan and Tessa Sullivan founded Solo Golf with the aim of bringing the style of men’s streetwear to the golf course. The couple opened a year-long stationary pop-up shop outside of Boston, Massachusetts in 2020 that displayed the company’s style and the couple’s love for the business.
The Sullivans have a passion for fashion but believe it should be uniquely expressed on the court. The couple don’t think every male golfer will fit into the shape of the traditional golf look. Everyone is encouraged to practice the sport with their own fashion flair and introduces Solo.
Solo took a traditional style, like the golf vest, adding a functional and warm touch. The vest has always been a staple of every golfer’s wardrobe, but the company added a fleece-blocked design with a high neckline, multiple pockets, and a hood. Hooded items are a growing style in golf fashion to help out during the cooler seasons. The Core Hooded Vest has a tailored fit, a fleece breastplate, a microfleece lining and can be easily swung into it.
Every golfer owns the traditional collared polo shirt, but Solo has introduced a versatile long-sleeved shirt. This shirt has a stand-up collar with 4 buttons, which creates a sportier collar look while maintaining the streetwear style.
