MIAMI–(BUSINESS WIRE) – Original Penguin by Munsingwear®, the American apparel brand, a division of Perry Ellis International, announces a partnership agreement with Aste Group to reintroduce the brand to the Brazilian market in the spring of 2022.
Original Penguin will transfer the rights to the Aste Group, which will distribute and license the brand in Brazil and focus on lifestyle products and performance categories such as golf, tennis and pickleball. The opportunity is part of a strategic plan developed for Latin America, including a robust expansion of Original Penguin brick and mortar stores, wholesale accounts and e-commerce.
