EAST HAVEN, CT —The East Haven Rotary Club is hosting its first Great Golf Ball Drop Raffle on Saturday at 1pm in partnership with the Foxon Recreation League.
The Rotary Great Golf Ball Drop Raffle is held in partnership with the Foxon Recreation League.
A helicopter will drop approximately 900 numbered golf balls onto the Foxon Recreation League field called The Pit on Maple Street in the Foxon neighborhood of East Haven. The ball that lands closest to the marked target on the field wins the holder of the ticket that matches that numbered ball, $ 1500 in cash! The person who has the matching number ticket for the second ball will win a cash prize of $ 500.
The winners do not have to be in attendance and the ball donation will be broadcast LIVE on the club’s Facebook page. All net proceeds will be used by the club for the many nonprofit services it offers. East Haven Rotary Club, Inc. is a 501c3 company and all purchases are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law.
The Rotary Club of East Haven is 83 years old since it was founded in 1939. Since then, Rotarians from East Haven have participated in thousands of projects that benefit not only the people of East Haven but around the world.
