Tom Brady uses his own golf balls on the links.
Tom Brady was speaking and showing off his golf game for the last few weeks leading up to The Match celebrity golf tournament on Tuesday.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback will face PGA star Phil Mickelson against PGA star Bryson DeChambeau and Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers. While Brady was working on his game of golf, some golf balls were usually lost and another golfer found a signature Brady golf ball along the way.
“Hey Tom Brady, we are a few holes behind you. Would you like that back? ”Nick Billardello tweeted on June 25th. The ball featured Brady’s number 12 and roman numeral etchings from his seven Super Bowl victories.
Brady won his seventh Super Bowl last season, leading the Bucs to a 31-9 win over the Kansas City Chiefs at Super Bowl LV. He also won his fifth Super Bowl MVP along the way.
Before Brady joined the Bucs as a free agent in 2020, he won six Super Bowls with the New England Patriots in nine appearances – XXXVI, XXXVIII, XXXIX, XLIX, LI and LIII. He spent 20 seasons with the Patriots, emerging from a sixth round draft pick to become the greatest quarterback of all time.
Brady, 43, has signed with the Buccaneers for two more seasons after signing extra time in the off-season. He’ll have a lot of help with repetition – something no NFL team has done since Brady’s Patriots in 2004 – when the Bucs return all 22 starters.
The Bucs open training camp on July 25th before starting the NFL season against the Dallas Cowboys on September 9th.

Brady’s continued ripping from Rodgers
Brady maximized the mileage from winning the Bucs’ NFC championship game against the Packers by not letting Rodgers hear the end before the game.
Rodgers and the Packers had a chance to tie the NFC championship game by the end of the fourth quarter with a game of four and one goal. Instead, the Packers played it safe and kicked a field goal, but never got the ball back.
Brady posted it on Twitter shortly after it was revealed that The Match lineup included him and Rodgers.
“Two old guys against the young bucks @PhilMickelson. @b_dechambeau you better get used to hanging up because we know @ AaronRodgers12 isn’t going for it, ”wrote Brady.
The seven-time champion continued on with more social media posts, then took the joke to The Match’s press conference on June 15.
“How many times do you think I can make this joke before July 6th,” tweeted Brady with a link to the press conference clip.
“I mean, I have a lot of respect for Aaron,” Brady told USA Today’s Jori Esptein of FOX News’ Daniel Canova. “Aaron will make the decisions he thinks are best. Everyone has a different dynamic in their work. “
Brady informs the match participants
Brady doesn’t want to leave any doubt that he’s ready to run on Tuesday.
He showed some putting strokes and said everyone was his for each of the contestants. “Don’t worry guys, July 6th is a far more prestigious tournament,” Brady tweeted.
Brady also announced that he had learned well from Mickelson. “Who taught me to sink those putts,” wrote Brady, retweeted a 63-foot putt by Mickelson on June 24th.
