In response to John Pauli’s Sunday letter, in which he criticized Victor Joecks’ column on fossil fuels: Does Mr. Pauli know what other uses than oil are used for?
The list is long but also includes electronics (smartphones, computers, televisions); Textiles (nylon, spandex, viscose, vegan leather, polyester); Sports equipment (basketball, golf balls, helmets, skis, boats, and more); medical supplies and drugs (aspirin, antihistamines, dentures, heart valves, and more); Beauty products (perfume, dyes, cosmetics, soap, toothpaste, deodorant, tights and more); and household products (carpet / rugs, appliances, paint, dishes, detergents, and more).
Is Pauli also familiar with the “Boondoggle” solar project from Crescent Dunes?
