A man’s club stolen from a golf club: Highland Heights Police Blotter

Theft: Club Drive

A man reported on October 16 that his golf clubs were stolen from his vehicle at Stonewater Golf Club while he was dining in the club’s restaurant. A surveillance video was recorded and the incident is being investigated.

Telecommunications Fraud: Strumbly Drive

A resident said on Oct. 13 he received a call from someone who claims to be a family member and said he needed $ 6,000 to be saved from prison. The resident knew it was a scam and ended the call.

Suspicion: Strumbly Drive

One woman reported at 11:21 pm on October 13 that someone pounded on her front door for about five minutes. The emergency services only found a raccoon on the porch and sent him on his way.

Bad checks: Wilson Mills Road

A Highland Supply manager reported October 14 that the company had received a bad check from a customer. He decided to clear the matter with the Mayfield Heights man before bringing charges.

Harassing Communication: Westmill Drive

A woman said on Oct. 14 that her 15-year-old son was harassed online by classmates at Mayfield High School. The officials referred her to the school counselor for further assistance after confirming that no threats had been made.

General support: Highland Road

A 60-year-old woman fell in Mulligan’s Pub & Grille on October 15 and refused to help staff. The emergency services confirmed that she was drunk but uninjured. You could contact a family member to pick her up from the store.

Property damage: Curtiss Wright Parkway

Pace Aviation’s store was reported on October 18 to have been broken into sometime last week. Officials found a fence that appeared to have been dented, but no evidence that the building had been entered.

Restricted Driving: Ridgebury Boulevard

A 24-year-old man from Chagrin Falls was arrested for OVI after losing control of his vehicle and crashing into a tree on October 18. He suffered only minor cuts in the accident.

Deer calls: Franklin Boulevard

On October 19, officials helped a deer that fell into a swimming pool in a resident’s yard.
