TENNIS CLASSES – Lewis-Clark State College Tennis Center will resume tennis classes every day except Saturdays starting Monday. They take place Monday to Friday from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. and Sundays from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The cost is $ 7 an hour. Mondays are students in grades 1-6, Tuesdays adults of all levels, Wednesdays high school students, Thursdays students in grades 7-8 and juniors of high school, on Fridays all are open and Sunday is for university studies. FOOTBALL OFFICIALS NEEDED – The Southeastern Washington Football Officials Association is actively recruiting those interested in running junior high and high school football games. The final training session will be on Tuesday at 6 p.m. in the Health Sciences Room at Pullman High School. For more information, call or text Karl M. LAB DAY COUPLES TOURNAMENT – Red Wolf Golf Club in Clarkston will be hosting its Labor Day Couples Tournament Friday through September 5, with the shotgun launch set on Saturday at 9 a.m. and September 5. The cost is $ 160 for members and mutual members. The deadline for entries is Wednesday. For more information, call the Pro Shop at (509) 758-7911.

FALL SPORTS BOYS AND GIRLS CLUBS REGISTRATION – Registration for the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Lewis-Clark Valley Flag Football and Fall Football League is pending. League games start on September 18th and last through October 30th. The cost is $ 60 for soccer and $ 80 for flag football. All registration fees include an annual club membership of $ 25, which runs through May. A one-week late registration period is through Wednesday and includes a late fee of $ 15. Registrations can be submitted online at poweroftheclub.org/athletics or at the Lewiston Club, 1021 Burrell Ave, weekdays from 1.30pm to 5.30pm. CLARKSTON, LEWISTON ALUMNI GIRLS ‘SOCCER GAME – An alumni game between former Clarkston and Lewiston girls soccer team players will take place at 6:30 p.m. at Clarkston High School on September 10th after the scheduled high school game between the two Teams take place. RUN-WALK MARCH – Moscow Elks Lodge 249 will host a run-walk march on September 11th at 8:30 am to commemorate the 20th anniversary of September 11th at Elks Golf Course. The event begins with the 5K race of the First Responder’s Challenge. At 9 a.m. there will be a 5 km commemorative run around the golf course. At 10 a.m., a march into Moscow’s city center begins, where a closing ceremony will take place in the Slice Taphouse. Registration is free, but a donation of € 25 would be very welcome. The proceeds will go to the American Red Cross Disaster Services and biomedical services for our region.
