Hundreds of golfers from across Southern California enjoyed a day of championship golf and prizes as they played the 25th

The championship course is home to the Southern California PGA and the venue for the annual IOA Championship on the Symetra Tour, the official qualification tour of the LPGA.

To mark the tournament’s 25th anniversary, Morongo increased the donation to $ 100,000 to help children and families cared for by the San Gorgonio Pass Boys & Girls Clubs. The funds will support the Boys & Girls Club programs and provide young people in need with new shoes, school clothes and backpacks with school supplies.

“Since its inception a quarter of a century ago, the Morongo Charity Golf Tournament has supported organizations that make a world of difference for children and families in the pass,” said James Siva, vice chairman of the Morongo Tribe, who co-chaired the tournament. “We’re excited to donate $ 100,000 to programs at the San Gorgonio Pass Boys & Girls Clubs that increase self-esteem and educational outcomes for local children and adolescents.”

Amy Herr, General Manager of the Boys & Girls Clubs of the San Gorgonio Pass, thanked Morongo for his many years of support and said: “Thanks to Morongo’s endless generosity, our organization is able to fulfill our mission, especially to help young people, those who like us most need to reach their full potential as productive, caring, and responsible members of the community. “

Since 1997, the Morongo Charity Golf Tournament has raised over $ 2 million to support dozen of local nonprofits that serve children, schools, veterans, and hospitals across the area.
