Always-assignable LPGA player Angel Yin joins in and offers some helpful advice on how to tackle a round of a bucket-list golf course. One of their keys is never to take a cart. She said it hurt her first experience at Riviera because she didn’t fully understand the course.
More highlights from this episode:
Yin first played playing Merion this fall, however, and said that it gave her the opportunity to appreciate the beauty of the course but also get a feel for her chip strokes off the green, something driving all in one Cart doesn’t always lend itself to.
How about souvenirs on a bucket list class? Yin said she made three different trips to the pro shop, each time finding something new that she had to have.
Yin is from Southern California and she played Torrey Pines and found it very overrated.
Yin also shares how exciting her 2017 Solheim Cup experience was and gives us all some tips on which courses to play if we make it to Southern California.
