Limerick Camogie is hosting Golf Classic at Adare Manor Golf Club

LIMERICK Camogie organizes on the weekend of 6-7. August a Golf Classic at the beautiful Adare Manor Golf Club to support all athletes representing Limerick Camogie from U14 to Senior.

Over 80 teams are expected to play golf on Friday and Saturday with some great prizes including rounds of golf at top golf courses across Ireland and a three-ball raffle at the 5-star Adare Manor Golf Resort.

The Limerick Camogie Golf Classic is an integral part of our fundraiser this year, and any support ensures that the teams representing Limerick at all levels have the best resources to prepare and compete at the highest level.

Limerick Camogie chairwoman Grace McNamara said: “We had a great league campaign in which our seniors eventually lost to reigning All Ireland champions and eventual winners Kilkenny, our junior team lost to Wexford in the All Ireland semi-finals out.

“Our underage teams also do well in their competitions, with the U16 team Clare and our underage teams taking a big win against Tipperary.

“We have what it takes in the district to compete with the best, we just have to offer our athletes the best opportunities.

“We hope that people will stand behind our golf classics and have a great day.”
If you cannot play golf this weekend and would like to donate, you can do so via the link below www.limerickcamogiegolfclassic.

Limerick Camogie fields teams on U14, U15, U16, U18, Juniors and Seniors.

There are over 250 players in our underage academy and 70 adult level players.
