Friday 3rd September 2021The city of Plymouth lost its last 18 hole golf course when Hollydale closed. Now it’s getting one of the indoor varieties.
Mulligan’s Indoor Golf plans to open at 3905 Annapolis Ln. N., southwest of Interstate 494 and Rockford Road. It is described as the “indoor version of Topgolf,” the popular venue in the Brooklyn Center.
Mulligan’s will have eight golf courses that customers can rent for a limited period of time. According to owner Matthew Schroeder, there are many simulated courses to choose from.
“There are hundreds of thousands of courses to choose from,” says Schroeder. “I’m very excited to be giving people this opportunity. It will be a lot of fun. “
Plymouth City Council approved a 3.2 percent malt liquor license for the venue at its August 24th session. Schroeder says the house’s food and beverage area will be an added amenity to the golf focus.
“My food and drinks page is scaled a little less than Topgolf,” said Schroeder. “I’m definitely focusing more on the golf side.”
Mulligan’s Indoor Golf is slated to open in mid-November.
