New professional hired at Cerbat Cliffs | Kingman Daily Miner

KINGMAN – Sam Hewitt is the new golfer at the city’s Cerbat Cliffs golf course.

Texas-based Hewitt has decades of experience managing public and private golf courses, Kingman City wrote in a press release.

“We’re delighted to have Sam on our team,” said Kingman City Manager Ron Foggin. “Sam is an amazing professional who is committed to building a strong team and providing great customer service.”

Foggin said that Hewitt “can help us bring great experiences to all golf courses”.

Hewitt will be participating in three community meet and greet sessions on the course – Tuesday, November 9th, 9-11am and 4:30 pm-7pm, and Wednesday, November 10th, 9:30 am-10:30pm

According to the press release, Hewitt has 27 years in the golf industry and 19 years of experience as a Head Professional and General Manager of the Class A PGA. He also has a background in the food and beverage industry, which gives him experience running the Cerbat Cliffs Golf Course Grill.
