SPOKANE – During the Christmas season 2021, Parks & Recreation and its partners are hosting a variety of festive events and activities to celebrate the New Year.

Marvel at the Christmas lights in Manito, Riverfront, and Cowley Park, glide through the fresh winter air in the Numerica Skate Ribbon, shop for local things at the Riverfront Winter Market, and ring in the New Year with the return of the New Year’s Eve fireworks on the riverside! You can also enjoy winter recreational activities for the whole family.

“It’s been over 18 difficult months, so we’ll take every opportunity to bring joy and bring something special to the community,” said Garrett Jones, director of Parks & Recreation. “Spokane is a city that really knows how to celebrate the holiday season, and thanks to our partners and generous donors, we have so many spectacular ways to do it this year.”
