DURING the eighth annual World Golf Awards in Dubai, the local golf course, St Francis Links, was recently named South Africa’s Best Golf Course in 2021.
Jeff Clause, CEO of St Francis Links, said the golf course, which has hosted several international events and hosted the South African PGA Championship, was voted the best new golf course in South Africa in 2007. from Golf Digest South Africa, just one year after it was founded.
In addition, the golf course was consistently among the top 10 of the SA Top 100 between 2008 and 2018 and in fifth place in 2020.
