The newly revealed interiors will reflect the island’s barefoot luxury spirit – refined and calm at the same time. Improvements include redesigned interiors and an upscale design aesthetic overseen by Leo A Daly. Guests will discover light, airy rooms, with natural materials and highlights in the resort’s signature orange, a nod to the sunrise in Anguillan and deep blue that reflects the azure blue Rendezvous Bay in which the resort is located. The culinary vision for Aurora Anguilla was designed by Chef Abram Bissellwho is immersed in the community and dedicated to discovering the traditions, stories, flavors and playful nature of the island’s dishes that reflect the local culture. Chef Abram now lives in Anguilla with his family after many years as a celebrated chef in New York City. Chef Abram ran the kitchens at The Modern and Eleven Madison Park, where he received two and three Michelin stars, respectively.
Chef Abram was born and raised in a small fishing village in the Florida Keys and found his inspiration in Anguillas Similarities to childhood and life on the water. The diverse range of restaurants was created to reflect the culinary heritage of. to honor Anguilla and the ingredients grown, caught and raised all over the island. Guests will discover nifty variations on Anguillan cuisine alongside Chef Abram’s signature new American cuisine, which focuses on ingredient-driven culinary excellence. A defining element of the resort’s food and beverage offering comes from the Hydroponic Farm and Orchard; Chef Abram and his team are inspired every day by the harvest of fresh fruit and vegetables. The property’s crown jewel, Aurora International Golf Club, will debut alongside the Aurora Anguilla, unveiling an extensive remastering overseen by Greg Norman Golf Course Design. In its new chapter, the 18-hole Signature Design Championship Course, the only golf course on the island, was created with the aim of being among the best in the world.
