Ballys Interactive has started the beta of its mobile sports betting provider, Bally Bet, in Iowa, and is expanding the sports betting platform’s presence in the second state.
After launching Bally Bet in Colorado last month, the company is releasing its beta version in the Iowa market through its access partnership with Elite Casino Resorts, which own Grand Falls, Rhythm City, and Riverside Casino and Golf Resorts.
Adi Dhandhania, Senior Vice President, Strategy and Interactive at Bally’s Corporation, said, “We are very excited to have reached another milestone with the expansion of our mobile sports betting platform in Iowa.
“As a state that has legalized sports betting since 2019, Iowa has been an attractive market for Bally Bet. We look forward to integrating Bally’s into Sinclair’s broadcast and digital programming in Iowa, bringing an engaging and creative sports betting experience to sports fans in Iowa, and working to cement Bally’s as the leading retail sports betting brand with the third largest reach in terms of the US to continue legalized market access. “
Bally Bet, which gives sports betting fans access to a wide variety of features, including betting options for all major sports, exclusive in-app games, and built-in social features, among others.
In addition, sports betting users can earn points which they can redeem through the company’s Bally Rewards loyalty program for games, restaurants, retail and other amenities at all Bally casinos nationwide. This expansion also gives Bally’s additional presence at the local CBS and Fox TV subsidiaries of the Sinclair Broadcast Group in Iowa.
Similar to the Colorado launch, the Iowa beta launch will focus on deploying, testing, and refining the Bally Bet app. Bally’s Interactive plans to launch Bally Bet’s mobile sports betting in two more markets in 2021, with more launches in 2022.
