One of America’s best golf resorts just got better. Destination Kohler in Kohler, Wisc., Which includes the American Club Hotel and the renowned 36-hole Whistling Straits (host of the upcoming Ryder Cup) and Blackwolf Run, has just added another course to the line-up. The Baths of Blackwolf Run is a 10-hole, par-3 course built on 27 acres between the first and 11th holes of Blackwolf Run’s Meadow Valleys course.
Hole lengths range from 60 to 160 yards and although the layout includes four water hazards (the “baths”), none of them require forced carrying around the hole.
Although the course was designed as a 10-hole course, the route allows both shorter and longer game experiences. In addition to the short course, guests can enjoy a two-acre putting course, a log cabin food and drink station, and ample outdoor seating around a fire pit.
“The baths will be a new twist for our resort guests, whether they’re a serious player looking to improve their game or longing for an extraordinary day on one of our 18-hole golf courses,” said Kohler Co. That said Golf- Vice President Dirk Willis in a press release. “Our ongoing mission is to find new and innovative ways to expand the game and make it more engaging and accessible to all. The Blackwolf Run baths enable us to do just that. “
