Lando Norris was known for his Twitch streams and online gaming gimmicks. Now Norris spends his free time on the golf course instead of in his gamer chair. Charlotte Sefton, press correspondent and friend of the driver, took on this personality change.

Sefton hit Norris’ new hobby on the tee. “You went from a gambler to a retired old man in three months.” Though Norris found it funny, he couldn’t help but defend himself. “Golf is not for old people. Everyone thinks that! “

Norris was recently named the most popular driver, behind Max Verstappen. A large part of his young fan base are the fans he has garnered on his way through his streaming. Although Norris frequently visits his friend Max Fewtrell’s streams, his Twitch streams remain empty of content.
Now it’s more likely that Norris is wearing his golf shoes and trying to putt on the dance floor.

In an infamous video with former McLaren teammate Carlos Sainz, Norris had said, “I don’t want to grow up. I’m happy where I am. ”Now it looks like Norris is happy with his off-track growth as well. Is Sainz an avid golfer himself, is he responsible for Norris’ shift?
Originally known for his jokes and funny antics in the paddock, Norris explained why he’s sobered up. “When I got into Formula 1, not everyone took me seriously. I’ve changed a bit because of that. “

Although the change didn’t mean long hours of golf instead of burning food in his streams, Norris has grown into a man with a sense of achievement. “Just because I sometimes joke in front of the camera doesn’t mean that I don’t take my job seriously and do everything I can. I want to show people that I take it seriously. I think I proved that this year too. That I’ve shown that I’m a good driver and that I want to be one of the best. “

But the funny side of Norris hasn’t entirely disappeared. Nevertheless, the crackling laughter of the Briton can be heard in the paddock. But the driver concluded by making his goals clear. “I’m not just here to have fun, I want to win with McLaren.”
