Michael Jordan was one of the toughest competitors in the NBA. Likewise, he wore equal competitiveness to every sport he practiced. Jordan is a huge golf fanatic, so much so that he introduced golf shoes within the Jordan brand.

The Chicago legend has been a fan of golf since joining the NBA. There are many stories of him, even playing on the golf course and he loves the Ryder Cup too. Given his love of sports, he also has a lot of shoes to play with.

While his impression was of a beast on the field, he is a good guy off the field. NBA Hall of Famer Ray Allen had the full experience walking to Jordan’s house and picking up a pair of his golf shoes.

Ray Allen borrows shoes from Michael Jordan
During the Dan Patrick Show, Alen talked about his son being a sneakerhead. In this day and age it is impossible to be a sneakerhead and not have Jordans. Hence, Allen admitted that his son has a lot of Jordans in his collection. The question arose whether Allen ever received shoes from Jordan.

Even though they weren’t gifts, Allen received shoes from Jordan himself. He pondered the time when he visited Michael’s Jupiter house and borrowed a pair of his golf shoes. As Allen looked at the shoes, he couldn’t help but ask for a few.
He explained why and said, “I knew there was no embarrassment because there were shoes that no one else had or had ever seen before. Now you can go online and find lots of Jordan golf shoes. But if you go back about 6-7 years, he makes all these shoes, basketball shoes, golf-soled running shoes. Nobody’s seen them before so I had to have these shoes. So I put my foot in it, not a sock, pressed into 13. “

Everyone shouldn’t be ashamed either, as these were exclusive shoes that only Michael Jordan owned at the time. Given how tempting the opportunity was, anyone would have made that decision. As a result, Allen received shoes from Jordan, but only after asking for them.
