PAYNTR Golf, based in Portland, Oregon, was founded by David Paynter, a former professional cricketer, and Mike Forsey, an industry manager with experience with several of the leading shoe companies. Building on what was learned in making cricket shoes, the world market was ready for a new and innovative golf shoe.
The heart of the comfort / performance features of the X 001 F is how the combination of the TPU outsole and the cushioning of the foam midsole plus the graphite-colored “Propulsion Plate” with the unique nub pattern on the sole works together to keep the rotational energy of the swing. The design is specifically designed to help recreational gamers use ground forces more efficiently to generate more power.

Our assessment is that these are very comfortable shoes to wear and have a lot of lateral support so even the most aggressive swingers will like them. Comparing it to competing shoe models is difficult, but PAYNTR’s pricing is in the range of similar performance shoes.
