Pink kicks for a cause of cancer

by | Oct 1, 2021 | Golf Shoes

In October, pink signals everything related to breast cancer, and regardless of the color – whether it’s rosy, blush, salmon, fuchsia, coral, blush, pastel, or flamingo – the goal is to draw extra attention to the cause and raise funds Screening and education.

Wearing pink golf shoes is one way of showing our support. While Sqairz will donate a portion of the sales of its limited edition pink shoes directly to ACS, we’ve rounded up a few other examples that will help build awareness.

Sqairz

The brand has teamed up with the American Cancer Society for its “Real Men Wear Pink” campaign and launched two limited edition men’s and women’s golf shoes with eye-catching ribbon details.

Sqairz founder and CEO Robert Winskowicz takes October very personally.

“I lost my brother to cancer and I would do anything to prevent this from happening to any other family,” he said. “Breast cancer or something else, this is a disease that affects so many. Through my own experiences and the many other families I have known and are going through, I have truly understood the devastating effects this disease is having on families. We support the ACS because so many millions have been positively influenced by their great work and the golf community can do so much to spread education and awareness and to contribute to a good cause. ”

For this reason, part of the sales from the Sqairz special offers will be donated directly to ACS.

Both the Freedom model for women and the Speed model for men have been developed with technology to increase distance, balance, stability and speed. These shoes provide golfers with a great opportunity to raise money for a good cause while improving their golf game.

The ladies cap-toe Gallivanter shoe is as stylish as it is comfortable. Pink details on the toe and heel areas of the spectators and a touch of blush on the sole of the shoe show your support for breast cancer awareness all year round.

The footbed with triple foam padding and the fully padded inside do not require a break-in period.

The Flex XP Women’s Shoe in Mauve Pink has a sporty style with waterproof performance mesh that offers lightweight, all-day comfort and breathability. The outsole is designed for exceptional traction and stability.

The Performa Sport shape offers a round toe character – a fuller fit in the forefoot area, which is ideal if you have a slightly wider foot, and a narrower fit in the heel with additional toe spring.

Adidas

The EQT Spikeless golf shoe with screaming pink stripes and knobbed details on a cool gray upper is a subtle nod to the October cause. One highlight is that 20 percent of the materials used in the upper of this shoe are made with at least 50 percent recycled content, as part of Adidas’ efforts to end plastic waste.

The EQT combines a springy midsole and boost heel for a lightweight, responsive feel that ensures comfort and an easy transition from the last putt to the run after the round.
