Actor Brian Baumgartner is now a family man. His life has changed for the better since his well-known TV stint on the NBC series, and recently he even scored with an app.
Brian Baumgartner, also known as Kevin Malone, became a loving husband and father after the “The Office” final. He was part of the show for eight seasons, the 48-year-old and his wife Celeste Ackelson are now a family of three.
The couple tied the knot at a backyard wedding with The Office cast including Oscar Nunez, Angela Kingsey and Jenna Fisher in April 2014.
Baumgartner told People how important it was for some of the co-stars to be at their wedding, explaining that it made sense for them to be there and that they are his “second family” when the show ended in 2013:
“We all grew up together. Our lives have changed together. We’ve seen weddings and divorces and children, success and failure. “
Although he managed to get his current wife to say yes, Baumgartner was considered a marriage proposal expert at the beginning of the year.
During a virtual interview with Page Six, he talked about participating in several engagements with “Cameo”. The star joked that he may previously have suggested “more women than anyone on the planet”.
Even so, he and Ackelson first became parents in 2015 when they greeted their daughter. Baumgartner took to Instagram to announce in March of that year that he was the proud father of a little girl.
His rep exclusively revealed to Us Weekly that the couple welcomed their first child on February 19. Her bundle of joy, nee Brylee Bea Baumgartner, weighed 7 pounds 11 ounces.
Baumgartner hit social media at the time, capturing the post that came with a cute picture of his newborn, and wrote:
“My newest project. Nine months in development. I am pleased to announce the arrival of my daughter Brylee Bea, healthy and happy.”
In addition to marriage and children, Baumgartner is also an avid golfer with a single-digit handicap. In May 2013 he took part in the Drew Brees Celebrity Championship.
The event took place at La Costa Resort and Spa, with Baumgartner making his first appearance at the then 14-year-old tournament.
In 2012 Baumgartner spoke about his golf training by recording the everyone’s quality on “Training Tahoe”. He joined the ESPN.com Playbook to talk about the players he has come to love.
“I’ve played golf and got invited to charity golf events and I’ve fallen in love with the game ten times and a lot of those events have been athletes,” he said.
When asked which athletes he worked with, Baumgartner said the list includes Aaron Rodgers, gymnast Nastia Liukin, CC Sabathia and Ryan Howard. Overall, the Trash Truck star is a sports fan since he grew up in Atlanta and played tennis, baseball, and basketball.
While he made it big exploring the golf field, Baumgartner also managed to make a whopping $ 1 million from Cameo in 2020.
Cameo is an American app for celebrities and ordinary people. The app’s co-founder and CEO, Steven Galanis, announced that Baumgartner is the most successful person on the platform.
