KETTERING – The Kettering Planning Commission is expected to hear a proposal for an 8,000-square-foot indoor golf training center at the NCR Country Club during its session on Monday evening.
The proposed facility would be adjacent to the existing driving range, and additional landscaping will be installed on the west side of the building to soften the view of the building from the people who live next door, the city said.

A report by city planner David Roller of Kettering shows that the city does not expect the facility to generate additional traffic as it can only be used by existing members of the NCR Country Club.
“The proposed facility would be used for virtual indoor golf and golf practice activities for NCR members,” the city said.
The town planning commission will hold a public hearing on the proposal in the council chamber on Monday evening at 7 p.m.
