The LPGA mother roster grows when Paula Creamer announced her pregnancy on Instagram on Sunday.
The 2010 US Women’s Open winner held up a romper suit with her fiancé Shane Kennedy, a retired baseball player.
Creamer, 34, returned to the tour in early May this year at the Pure Silk Championship in Kingsmill, its first start since October 2019. The 10-time LPGA winner said she needed the extra time to heal her left wrist and thumb injuries.
Creamer played in six events in 2021 and made her first cut in the Volunteers of America Classic earlier this month.
“I feel great,” said Creamer at the Marathon Classic in Toledo last week. “My body feels really good. My left hand, which has played a lot of golf, has not had any problems with it since my return. You know, (the break) was necessary in several ways. “
When asked in May if a wedding was planned for 2021, Creamer didn’t say this year.
“This year is a little full right now,” she said.
