The PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe today announced a new six-year partnership with Capgemini that will begin at this year’s Ryder Cup.
After that first year as global supplier to the 43rd Ryder Cup, Capgemini will become a global partner for the 2023 Ryder Cup in Rome, the 2025 Ryder Cup in Farmingdale, NY and the 2027 Ryder Cup in County Limerick, Ireland, where its industry-leading digital transformation capabilities will be help make the Ryder Cup better for its fans and organizers.
The global partnership with the Ryder Cup, one of the premier sporting events that brings together the best of the best from around the world through team competitions and promotes golf worldwide, is a significant first step in Capgemini’s golf history. This partnership reflects Capgemini’s focus on building and celebrating talent, team spirit and excellence – all of which are at the heart of Capgemini and the Ryder Cup.
This year’s Ryder Cup, the biennial men’s team competition between Europe and the US, has been postponed to September 2020 and begins on Friday on the Straits course in Whistling Straits, Kohler, Wisconsin. Capgemini will play a prominent role in his new role at Whistling Straits, seeking to provide technical assistance and transformative solutions to the PGA of America and Ryder Cup Europe during the six-year sponsorship.
