Michael Phelps has found extra time for golf-related news and activities after retiring and has tried to attend events whenever possible. Additionally, the 36-year-old is immensely active on social media and recently commented on one of PGA Tour’s Instagram posts.
John McLaren, who had been Paul Casey’s caddy for six years, decided to take a permanent golf break due to mental health problems. McLaren, affectionately known by his colleagues as “Johnny Long Socks”, decided to explain his decision in a statement.
McLaren said he wanted to take command of the situation instead of falling prey to it. He’s got the situation under control and has decided to part ways with Casey for the time being and the golfer is incredibly supportive too.
