Sam Bennett (Texas A&M) tops the Velocity Global Ranking for the fifth year in a row, and PGA TOUR University’s top nine players remain unchanged as college golf nears mid-year. Should Bennett stay in first place for another week, he will receive a sponsorship exemption for the Slync.io Dubai Desert Classic of the European Tour, which will be awarded to the top player of the PGA TOUR University, presented by Velocity Global, from November 17th.

Before Bennett took the top spot in the rankings in Week 40, Pierceson Coody, Texas was number one for the first five weeks of the season. Logan McAllister (Oklahoma) has held 3rd place every 10 weeks, and Alex Fitzpatrick (Wake Forest) is # 4 after one win and second place in the fall.

Eugenio Chacarra (Oklahoma State) started the season in 6th place in the Velocity Global Ranking and moved up one place to 5th place, while Ryan Hall (South Carolina) opened in 5th place and is currently 11th.
