Seamus Power took their first career PGA Tour win by winning the Barbasol Championship in Nicholasville, Kentucky on Sunday. Power overtook JT Poston in a six-hole playoff after the pair finished four rounds of golf on 21 under par. “Career changing, life changing, all that good stuff,” said Power. “So it will be a while, but it’s a great day.” With the win, Power will receive a PGA Tour exemption for the next two years, in addition to a place in the playoffs and the next berth year in the PGA Championship, The Players and the Tournament of Champions. “I got myself in a couple of good positions and it definitely helped me today as I felt like I had a little more control than I might have been four to five months ago,” said Power.
